My dear friend C came to visit and brought along her beautiful 15-month-old daughter F. We have grand designs for X and F. We fantasize about future holiday gatherings with the in-laws that we already know and love (each other). It will be tricky, getting them to actually fall in love someday, but we're hopeful...Meanwhile, we encouraged lots of kisses and hugs and "I love yous" and caught them all on camera for posterity.
