Clearly, we have to do our due diligence before closing in 30 days. We need to verify that there is indeed water at the property as the current owner claims (we didn't see any signs of it...). We also plan to check to make sure we can legally build on the land. We can't afford to do anything major right away, but it is important to us that we have that option.
But if everything goes through as planned, we will soon be the proud owners of our very own campground! We are already surfing cottage plans and dreaming of someday. It is nice to finally have a land deal that is untethered to the whims of others, a place where we can realize some of our fantasies without the fear that someone else is going to fuck it all up.
Strangely, however, in our excitement we failed to take a single photograph of the property - -and I take pictures of practically everything! All I have are the photos the seller's agent posted on RMLS. So, have a gander -it is nothing special, but it's (almost) ours!
